Host and Co-Presenter For Dancing in the Clouds

I was privileged to be engaged as one of the host presenters of a folk dancing and singing show, “Dancing in the Clouds” by artistes from the province of Yunnan, Western China at the Mermaid Theatre in London. It was the first time they have appeared in the UK. At the end of the show, Richard took a bow with the cast of the show and the Chinese Ambassador, HE Liu Xiao Ming.

Three Venue Wedding

The Three Venue Wedding in London

Earlier in July, I acted as a Wedding Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies at a wonderful three-venue wedding… starting at the RAF Club in Piccadilly to board an open-topped Routemaster bus for transfer to the House of Commons for a wedding ceremony and champagne reception. Then to the Lansdowne Club in Mayfair, for wedding breakfast. Then walking behind a Scottish piper along Piccadilly to finish at the RAF Club for cake cutting and dancing.

Cart Marking 2017

I was at the Guildhall for the annual ceremony of Cart Marking 2017 which was staged by the Worshipful Company of Carmen. At this ancient event, vehicles are presented to the Lord Mayor and ‘stamped’ for approval to conduct their trade or ply for hire within the City of London. Wonderful old vehicles in top condition. Quite a sight but caused traffic chaos in the area.

Aerospace Media Awards Dinner 2017

Earlier in June I was hired as a Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies for the Aeroclub de France in Paris for the Aerospace Media Awards Dinner on the eve of the Paris Air Show.

While at the Paris airshow, I joined the media scrum for President Macron. Despite modern technology the beauty of Concorde still endures, 40 years after she was created, as it was made part of the Paris Airshow.

Later I was MC at the Paris Air Show for the Skytrax Airline Awards and find myself co-opted as crew member for Asia Airlines. Love my job. I also joined the eroflot crew at Skytrax Airline Awards at the Paris Air Show

Thai Airways were awarded world’s best Economy Class at the Skytrax Airline Awards at the Paris Air Show.
