I was fortunate to act as a wedding Toastmaster at Botleys Mansion in Chertsey Surrey for a Friday wedding.

Botleys Mansion was built over 250 years ago, formerly a private residence, then in more recent times, became a hospital. Now an exclusive wedding venue operated by bijou.

British Aviation Group Annual Dinner 2017

I was honored to invited to act as Toastmaster and MC at the British Aviation Group annual dinner at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane.

Attending the dinner was Mike Miller-Smith MBE, CEO of Aerobility, the charity which teaches disabled individuals to learn to fly, no matter how severe their condition, with absolutely stunning results. The charity is a regular beneficiary of the British Aviation Group dinner from generous guest donations.

Mike is the inspiration and founder. As he says: “If a disabled person can fly, what else can can they do?”

Master of Ceremonies at Chinese Embassy with Buyi Seamstresses

The Story of the Buyi of Qian Xinan

To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Ambassadorial Diplomatic Relations between China and the UK I was invited to be a Master of Ceremonies and MC at a presentation at the Chinese Embassy, for a fashion show of beautifully embroidered designs by the talented seamstresses of Qianxinan in the province of Guizhou.

This is the first time that the Buyi seamstresses from Qianxinan have visited London to present their skill and designs, which date back hundreds of years, thanks to the collaboration of entrepreneurs Lady Barbara Judge and Madam Xia Hua of Eve Group in China.

This memory popped up and am happy to share as the perfect wedding in the best wedding venue. It is such a privilege to participate in my clients’ special days. Always live, unrehearsed and unrepeatable. Here I acted as Wedding Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies at an extravagant Asian wedding at Grosvenor House for 750 guests.

Part of the entertainment were Aerialists Nina, Alex and Ziggy otherwise known as ‘Eleganza’ and magician, Magic Singh.
